Hi Wanted to email to say a BIG thank you for taking my daughter Claire on her first experience of scuba diving She really enjoyed it and wants to do more actually wanted to do again same day We got some great pics and video clips on disc a big thanks to the camera man for doing it ! It made my daughters holiday ! I have done diving a cpl of times before on holiday but i have to say nothing as good as my daughters experience ! The tuition and the care and attention given to her were so good very proffesional and night and day to what i experienced !! She enjoyed so much she wants to continue to learn at home ! Thanks for the amazing day I spent with you last week snorkelling in the natural swimming pool at Arinaga and also in the El Cabron Marine Reserve. I have seen the remains of cuttle fish before on the beaches of Devon but this was the first time I had ever seen a live one. Hi Brian and Marilyn, We just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thanks for the great diving during our holiday last week. We had an excellent time once we got started and really enjoyed diving the El Cabron reserve. We were particularly impressed with the quality of your staff and enjoyed diving knowing we were safe and also getting the best spots due to their experience. Diving with Brian on our last day it showed that he still clearly has a passion for diving and it's a pleasure to see this. Dear Brian, I just wanted to say thank you for the week I spent completing the full course of BSAC Sports Diver. The training I received was very thorough and all aspects of the course were covered in full with plenty of practical training. In fact with the diver rescue element you certainly kept me fit! Although much of the BSAC element was with yourself I would also like you to know that all the dive leaders were very friendly and helpful throughout the week. In terms of the dives themselves I got to see an abundance of sea life and meeting an angel shark almost became common place :) Overall a great adventure with high calibre and experienced dive leaders. Davy Jones Dive Centre is certainly on the highly recommended list.

Just a quick note to say a big thank you to everyone for another great trip here to the Canary Islands. I got 16 fantastic dives in with loads of excellent pictures and the accommodation in Angelot is fantastic too. You left Davy Jones Diving in very capable hands! I've sent you a photo of a horrible, nasty, evil-looking thing [Uwe!] and a sea hare. It's a quite good example of the use of a wide-angle lens. I plan to sort out my photos over Xmas/New Year and I'll be sending various people some of the better ones. If everyone else is really unlucky Brian and myself can talk at epic length about underwater photography the next time I'm over. And can someone remind Uwe to not feed the sharks?

It was a lovely and relaxing experience. I was worried about getting water in my mask, but Graham soon calmed my nerves after showing me the correct way to remove the water. Just a quick email, rather belatedly I'm afraid, to thank you for looking after us so well during our recent trip. We found everything to be excellent from the facilities at the centre, the equipment and of course the diving itself. You have a great team and please pass on our thanks to Graham particularly. He looked after William really well and, as you know, your initial training stays with you for life. Being a teenager William is never effusive in his praise but he did say that Graham's course was far superior to the pool and theory training he'd done in the UK. Believe me, coming from him, this is praise indeed! We had a bit of a long journey back to the UK because of the volcano (scheduled flights to Madrid followed by hire car to Calais and then ferry) but not as bad as some and we still had a great holiday. Hopefully we'll be back to Gran Canaria in the no too distant future and will have the pleasure of diving with you again. Best wishes Richard

Hi Brian, Thanks for a great weekend! The boys from Jersey were very happy with the dives so all good. I learnt heaps and I am much more comfortable with my diving now and you have given me some excellent bench marks! I wanted to try the video cam just for fun to see if it would pick up under night conditions. It didn’t! Just a heads up for your info. The low light is just too low for it to be worthwhile. There are some scary bits looming out of the black so I will try to cut these into something useful. The problem with the camera or the cameraman just not enough light – worth knowing if someone else comes into the shop with the same idea. Thanks mate,

Hello Marilyn and Brian, I want to thank you all for everything you did during the course and my extra day diving. I enjoyed it so much. Not that I am a prof now but at least I can go diving at greater depth with some more confidence. Although your instructors didn't exactly do the parts of the course I chose, they had other ideas, they learned me a lot more. I still have to practice a lot but that is also possible in the cold waters of the Netherlands and of course somewhere in a foreign country. When there are friends of mine who want to do a course and they are in the neighbourhood I certainly will recommend them your diving centre. He did not think that he had much to impart to me, but rest assured that when one is used to mainly grovelling along the bottom of old coal docks in the pitch black up to your elbows in silt, peak performance buoyancy control is a joy to master. Hello to Brian, Andy and every one at Davy Jones. This is just an email to thank you for the fantastic experience I had when I did two discover diving days with you in December (I enjoyed the first one so much Paul (my hubby) bought me the second day as one of my Christmas presents!) I know I have already said it, but once again a BIG thank you to Andy - I don't think I would have been brave enought to do it without his help and assurance. Now we are back in the UK (Paul snowed up in Brecon and me snowed up in Blackburn!!!) I keep watching the DVD of my dive and wishing we were back in Gran Canaria. My son Austyn and I completed our four Open Water referral dives with you during July 2007 and since then I have passed my Advanced Open Water and dived in The Maldives and both of us in Sharm - the bug got to me. I've rebooked another weeks diving in Sharm this year (I seem to be a warm water diver!).
But one thing I will never forget was my first Open Water dives undertaken with Brian and Andy in the beautiful Arinaga reserve and all the help and hospitality we had from both yourselves and your wife and daughter (send Annette our congratulations, she probably won't remember us but she was our hotel pick-up that week in your brand new minibus), it was much appreciated as both my son and I were very nervous at the time. Andy should remember me, I was the one who slipped over just as we were making our way down the 'cliff' and sliced my palm open - I still have the scar to prove it! All the diving took place whilst my wife was snorkeling above us.
Anyway, good luck through the credit crunch and I'll try very hard to get back over to GC in the coming years for a reminder as to how pretty the Arinaga reserve is (has the old dive centre to dive site transport given up the ghost yet?) I've read the Dive Magazine and seen an article or two in the same magazine concerning the marine reserve - lots of good publicity.

I would like to start off by saying you have a top notch operation, and we truly enjoyed our diving weekend.
