Using the Spanish Phone Systems

How to call Davy Jones Diving
Phone Guide
Spain has a modern digital phone and mobile system which provides a similar level of service to the BT network in the UK. Here are a few tips to help you call us easily. You can call our Freephone number (900 46 01 47) from fixed lines such as in Hotel rooms, payphones and hotel receptions. It works in the same way as a UK 0800 Freephone number and you do not have to pay for the call.
  • To call from a Telefonica payphone:
Simply lift the receiver, dial the number and wait for a reply. Simply ignore all messages asking you to insert money or cards. Calling from other payphones (eg COMITEL) may not work so always use a Telefonica kiosk.
  • To call from your hotel or another fixed line:
You may need to enter a dialing code to get a line, then just type in the number. Some hotels may charge a 'connection fee'.
  • To call from a Spanish mobile phone:
Simply dial the number and wait for a reply.
After four rings, the call will divert to our mobile, please hold the line as there is a slight pause or change in the ringtone.

It is not possible to use the Freephone number from outside Spain, or from a non-Spanish mobile, so please use our direct number, 699 721 584
  • To call from outside Spain:
Put your international access code, then the country code (34) then the number. So from the UK dial 00 34 699 721 584.
  • Using your mobile inside Spain:
You must enter the access and country codes before the number you wish to dial, so to call us from an UK Vodaphone handset, enter the same as above.

SMS Messages

It can be a lot cheaper to send an SMS message to a Spanish mobile than to call it. The Spanish system is compatible with standard text messages. You can send your message to us on (00 34) 699 721 584.
